It’s latin name is Costus woodsonii, but I like Red Button Ginger a lot more 🙂 It is also called Red Button Costus.
I don’t know how to write about plants. I just have a feeling for them and that has to do with its shape and color and how it fits in to its space.
I especially like it after it has been rained on. They are so slick and fresh.
Their flowers are a bit strange. Small yellow flowers shoot out from a large red flower holder. It kind of reminds me of a large lollipop I had as a kid.
