A Year Ago

Sometimes it’s hard to keep track of what happened a month ago, let alone a year, but now Google Photos (and many other apps) pleasantly reminds us.

When I see photos of the construction of Ohana Retreat Bali I am amazed that we slowly but surely made it through in one piece. For a long time I was unsure of whether this hotel will come together, although I did have confidence in my builder. Still, there are hundreds of small items that need to be dealt with and each person has their strengths and weaknesses. My builder even told me that he doesn’t enjoy doing the finishing work as much as basic construction. That made me a little nervous.

By visiting the site each day, and sometimes more than once a day, we were able to eventually put the puzzle together.
