Pelebon Puri Agung Peliatan in Ubud

The cremation ceremony was for the late Anak Agung Oka Susmini, wife of Ida Dwagung Peliatan IX, who passed away after illness on 12 December. Her remains were transported from the Puri Agung Peliatan to the Setra Dalem Puri in a nine-tier bade that stood 24 meters high.

Groups of local men who would carry the bade – 1200 in all, in groups of 100 at a time proceeding in relay fashion along the road, each group representing one of the banjars of Peliatan.
