As you can see from the photos it is a bit hard to describe Woods — a three year labor of love by local legend, Dodo.
Yes its about the food too! Delicious and presented with class. I had the Moroccan Shakshouka, a delightful mix of eggs, reduced tomatoes, feta cheese, coriander pesto, and more. Presented in a baked cast iron pan. Wow. Repeat after me: coriander pesto. Wow again.
Imagine early evening. The heat of the day has dissipated, a dozen or more chandeliers are ablaze and the sweet sounds of jazz, along with a Bali Mary (a take on the classic Bloody Mary) carry you away, into a very special slice of paradise.
Woods isn’t opened for dinner yet but its on the horizon.
