Ohana Retreat BaliWe were able to complete the entire external structure this week. All of us felt a strong sense of relief, as this is the rainy season and it could have been a muddy and delayed effort. Now the rain will not impact the majority of the finishing work, which is already well underway.
The final concrete pour for the roof above the guest units was completed today. It was an amazing feeling to be standing 11 meters (33 feet) above the ground, where a year earlier I hired a drone photographer to show me what I saw today with my own eyes.
Photos tell one type of story but by the time the photo is taken there could have been a whole series of decisions leading up to it that were not photographed.
